Held in Your Design

A Space to Be Heard within your Design

There is a particular kind of pain that comes from understanding yourself with your mind, but not yet feeling it in your body. From knowing, on some level, why you do what you do — and still finding yourself doing it.

Held in Your Design brings together two of the most powerful tools I work with: therapeutic counselling and Human Design. Not as a technique, and not as information to absorb, but as a living, breathing space where both the map and the inner experience of it can be held together.

This is for you if you have been carrying something that hasn’t yet found the right container. If you are somewhere between knowing and becoming. If you are ready to not just understand yourself, but to slowly, gently, begin to trust yourself.

What This Work Holds

Your Human Design chart is a precise and compassionate map of how your energy is designed to move through life — how you are meant to make decisions, where you are naturally consistent, and where you may have been quietly working against yourself without realising it.

But a map, however beautiful, is only the beginning.

What counselling brings is the space to feel into what the map reveals. To sit with the recognition, the grief, the relief, or the resistance — whatever arises when you begin to see yourself more clearly. To explore the conditioning that has shaped you, in a therapeutic space where it can be witnessed, named, and gently loosened.

In practice, this means our sessions move fluidly between the two. We might begin with a particular aspect of your design and find ourselves in a deep conversation about your life. We might begin with something you are carrying and discover that your chart illuminates exactly what is arising. There is no fixed structure — only presence, attention, and a genuine following of what your system needs in each moment.

How Sessions Work

Before every session, you send me a short note — something you want to bring to the work. It might be a pattern you keep meeting, a voice that won’t quieten, a feeling you can’t quite name, or something that has recently surfaced.

I take that thread and sit with your Human Design chart, exploring where what you’re describing is showing up in your design, what it might be pointing to, and what your chart can offer by way of understanding or permission. When we meet, we bring all of that into the room together.

This means every session arrives already alive. We are not starting from scratch — we are going deeper into something that is already moving in you.

After each session, I send you a short set of notes — a gentle summary of what we explored and any key insights or threads to carry with you. These are yours to return to in your own time, so that you can be fully present when we are together, without needing to hold everything in your head.

Sessions are 60 minutes and available weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Consistency matters here; the work builds, and so does the self-trust.

This May Be for You If

  • You have explored your Human Design and want support actually living it, not just knowing it

  • You are moving through change, loss, or transition and want both a map and genuine companionship through it

  • You feel a quiet sense of being out of alignment with yourself, and you aren’t sure why

  • You are tired of patterns that keep repeating, and ready to understand them from a deeper place

  • You want a space that holds both the practical and the emotional — together

You do not need to have any prior knowledge of Human Design to begin. If you are new to it, the preparation I do before our first session will give you everything you need to feel grounded and oriented.

Qualifications & Approach

I am a qualified counsellor holding a Level 4 Counselling Diploma, with over twenty-five years of professional experience working with people navigating trauma, emotional difficulty, and the quieter, longer-standing aches of being human. My background spans children, young people, and adults — and has given me a deep grounding in psychology, the nervous system, and what it means to truly meet someone where they are.

I am also a Human Design practitioner, and have been working with the system for a number of years — both in my own life and in the way I support others. I hold it lightly, and always in service of your own self-understanding rather than as a fixed framework to be applied.

Practical Information

Initial session — £280 / includes 2+ hours of chart preparation and analysis, plus a 60 minute consultation and session notes.

Ongoing sessions — £125 - including pre-session chart analysis, 60 minute consultation and session notes.

Sessions are available weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Consistency supports the kind of trust and safety that allows deeper work to happen.

Where: Sessions are available online via video call.

Starting out: We always begin with a free, no-obligation consultation call — a chance to meet, ask questions, and find out together whether this feels like the right fit. There is no pressure. Just a conversation.

A note on fit: The relationship between a counsellor and client is at the heart of this work. If after our first session or two something doesn’t feel quite right, I would always encourage you to say so. What matters most is that you find the support that is right for you — whether that is with me or elsewhere.
