Sacred Sound Healing

Sound has been used as a healing practice across cultures and traditions for thousands of years. Not because it is complicated or esoteric — but because it works. The body knows vibration. It responds to it before the mind has even caught up.

When life pulls our natural rhythm out of tune — through stress, grief, trauma, or simply the weight of keeping going — we can feel it. Heavy. Disconnected. Unable to settle. Sacred sound offers a gentle, natural way back into your own resonance.

How Sound Healing Works

Sound healing works through two simple principles: entrainment and resonance.

Entrainment is the body's natural tendency to synchronise with a steady external frequency. As the instruments play, your brainwave patterns begin to slow and shift — moving out of the busy, reactive state of everyday life and into the deeper, more restorative states where real healing becomes possible.

Resonance encourages areas of tension or stagnation to soften and release. Sound travels not just through the air but through the body itself — through tissue, fluid, and the energy field — gently loosening what has become held or stuck.

Each session uses a different combination of instruments depending on what you need. The warm tones of Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, solfeggio pipes, gong, voice, shamanic drum and rattle — each carries its own vibration and quality of presence. Used with intention, they create a space where the nervous system can settle, the emotional body can breathe, and something deeper in you can simply be.

BioField Healing ~ Tuning Forks

The biofield is the subtle energy field that surrounds and moves through the body. In many healing traditions — and increasingly in energy research — it is understood that our biofield can hold the imprint of our experiences: stress, loss, old emotions, difficult seasons of life.

When energy becomes stuck here, we feel it — as heaviness, anxiety, a sense of being blocked, or a persistent inability to move forward.

Tuning forks offer a precise and beautiful way of working with the biofield. Used around and within the energy field, the clear, pure tones they produce can help identify and gently shift areas of density or disturbance. As the frequencies move through, old patterns begin to loosen. Stagnant energy connected to past experiences, emotions or ways of being that no longer serve you can begin to release — making space for clarity, lightness, and a renewed sense of yourself.

Sacred Sound Journey

Small group · Up to 5 people · 2 hours · Held at my home in Powys

A Sacred Sound Journey is not a sound bath. It is something older, more intentional, and considerably more layered.

In a world where singing bowls have become background noise, what I offer here is something different — a carefully crafted ceremonial experience, held in an intimate space, using the full spectrum of sound as a healing tool. Not just the tones that soothe and settle, but also the dissonant, the unexpected, the frequencies that shake loose what needs to shift. Knowing how and when to work with dissonance — and how to hold a group safely through it — is something that comes only with deep training and lived experience.

Each journey is shaped around the group that gathers. We work with Himalayan and crystal bowls, tuning forks, solfeggio pipes, gong, shamanic drum, rattle, and voice — moving through layers of sound that clear, open, restore, and return you to yourself. The experience is immersive and held with complete intention from beginning to end.

These journeys take place in my home — a quiet, sacred space in the wide landscape of Powys, held by the land and the natural world around it. Up to five people gather, so the space remains genuinely intimate. You will be known here, not lost in a crowd.

Afterwards, we come together over cacao or herbal teas — grounding back into the body, into conversation, into the warmth of shared experience. This closing ritual is part of the medicine. Something particular happens when a small group of people have travelled somewhere together and then sit quietly with a warm cup and let it land.

Who is this for?
Anyone ready to go a little deeper. Whether you are new to sound healing or have experienced it before, a Sacred Sound Journey offers something that a larger group setting simply cannot — true presence, genuine holding, and the kind of shift that happens when a space is crafted with real care and skill.

Places are limited to 5. Booking in advance is essential.

Price: £20

Who can Sound Healing Support?

Sound healing is for anyone who feels out of rhythm with themselves.

It may be especially supportive if you are carrying ongoing stress, anxiety, or emotional fatigue. If you feel stuck, depleted, or disconnected — from your body, your feelings, or your own sense of direction. If you struggle to switch off or rest. If you are moving through a transition or a difficult season and need something to help you land back in yourself.

You don't need to understand how it works to receive it. You only need to arrive.

Sound healing is a complementary practice and not a replacement for medical care. Contraindications apply — please get in touch if you have any questions before booking.

A Note on How I Work

I am a certified Sound Healing Practitioner. I work intuitively, choosing instruments and approaches in response to each person rather than following a fixed formula. All instruments are high quality and professionally graded, chosen for their clarity, depth of resonance, and the quality of presence they bring to the space.

Every session is held with care, intention, and a genuine commitment to your wellbeing.
